Mooring

Port service provided to pick up the ship's mooring ropes and secure them to the fixed elements meant for this purpose and indicated by the ship's captain in the mooring area assigned by the Port Authority. This is done in such a way to enable berthing and cast off operations, the latter being when the mooring ropes are let loose following the captain's instructions.
