S.L. (Andalusian Shipyard)
Located in Sanlúcar de Barrameda (at
the Guadalquivir's mouth), Astilleros Andaluces, S.L. is part of Abance Ingeniería
y Servicios S.L.. This group's fields of activity span engineering, commissioning,
maintenance, architecture and infography.
Its ubication and modern infrastructures
make this company an unavoidable reference point in construction and repairs of
all kind of ships up to 600 tons. Its installations take more than 20,000 square
meters, distributed as follows: - Repair slip of over 5,000 square
meters.
- Stockyard covering over 4,000 square meters.
- Mechanical
Workshop.
- Carpentry Workshop.
- Warehouse for storage of materials.
- Stores with all the necessary material for vessels repair.
Astilleros Andaluces has the appropriate infrastructures and human resources
to work on any kind of material whatsoever, from traditional wooden constructions
to modern glass filament, including steel constructions.
Among its equipments, five immobilization carts (of 45 metres each and
a maximum tonnage of 600 tons) stand out. All these carts are fitted with
water, electricity and air-pressure services, to make repairs faster and
easier.
The company is making a big investment in a 500 square metre warehouse
in order to keep its position in the technological front-line.
